Test Double supports Black Lives Matter and the protests against systemic racism around the world inspired by the tragic murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many others before and after them. We recognize that we need to do more.

As a company, Test Double has struggled in many ways in regard to diversity and inclusion. We’re embarrassed by that, and have been for some time. We are trying to be better. As a small step in the right direction, we are changing our paid holidays for US based agents. We’ll have Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth celebrated as paid holidays moving forward.

Earlier this year, we also formed an internal task force—championed by leadership—whose mission is to improve diversity and inclusion at Test Double, using the Global Diversity & Inclusion Benchmarks as our framework. We are examining our systems, practices, requirements, and organizational culture to ensure we are adhering to antiracist practices. We’ve already made some changes this year, and we have more in the pipeline—around recruitment, interviewing, career growth, career opportunities, compensation, and learning.

As a hopefully larger step in the right direction, beyond even the company, we are going to be committing our time and skill towards building software that assists nonprofits and organizations who are battling systemic racism or supporting disenfranchised Black people in our country. If you know of a cause who could use our help or belong to one yourself, please sign up for a conversation below.
